The SCR / Thyristor Trigger Unit AT416 was developed for firing single High Power Thyristors with optical control signals  by logic circuit output signals from microcontrollers, microprocessors, CPLDs or FPGAs under difficult operation conditions

Application

The AT416 Trigger Unit was developed for firing single High Power Thyristors with optical control signals

under difficult operational conditions.

 

The EZYTrigger Module AT416

features very high interference resistance.

The 10mA trigger signal converts any high-voltage SCR into an optical controlled device.

Required gate current is derived from the anode

of the thyristor via a controlled current source of 2.5A.

There is no need for an additional isolated power source for the gate drive.
